Have questions? We’ve put together answers to the most common inquiries to help make your shopping experience as smooth as possible.
RRP (recommended retail price) is the price which the manufacturer recommends that the retailer sell the product.
If your item has not been unboxed and packaging remains intact, we are able to return the item for a refund, if notified within 7 days of the date of delivery. A pickup fee applies. If your item has been unboxed and is unused, get in touch with us to determine the next steps.
If your product has not been delivered, we can cancel your order and process a full refund (excluding proforma items). Alternatively, if you wish to change the product to something else before delivery, we can change your order for you and you will either pay the difference if the new product is more expensive or we will refund you the difference if it is cheaper! Just contact one of our friendly representatives either via email, or call us.
The standard install price applies to like-for-like replacement and/or a new install when connecting to existing electrical services without any additions and/or modifications to services or cabinetry.
Any additions, modifications or changes to existing services will be quoted and will incur additional charges. eg: power points, circuit upgrades etc.
Absolutely! We can deliver and install all in the same visit!
We don’t offer collections from our warehouses.
Yes, you can request that we remove your old appliance for recycling – simply select the Removal Option in the shopping cart during checkout when ordering.
Note that the old appliances being removed must be similar to the new appliance being delivered. If it is still connected, our licensed electrician will disconnected it from the power supply. This may incur an additional fee.
Yes our team of qualified local electricians will install your appliance in Newcastle and the Hunter Valley. Installation is an additional fee. Outside of these areas you will have to arrange an electrician to do the install.
Yes, we will be in touch with you to organise a day and time to deliver and install your new appliance.
Delivery fee changes by location. We can also take away your old appliance. We also offer installation by our qualified electricianms.

Yes, the majority of the products you purchase from us are backed by a full Manufacturer’s Warranty. This is in addition to any rights you may have under Australian Consumer law.
No, we only sell brand new products backed by a full Manufacturer’s Warranty.
We are a retailer of appliances from a trusted selection of Australian and international brands. While different brands manufacture their products in different countries, all products sold at Hunter Valley Kitchen Appliances are imported to our Australian warehouses before being sold to you.
We will typically deliver your order from our Warners Bay warehouse direct to your address for installation.
Our head office is in Warners Bay, in Newcastle New South Wales. This is where our customer service team and licensed electricians (installers) are based.
